Yum! Brands, the parent company of KFC, supports thousands of teams worldwide. To keep standards high, they provide digital tools that help staff assess and improve internal processes. One key project was developing a smarter, more user-friendly self-assessment tool for KFC’s procurement teams around the world.
Problem
KFC’s procurement teams needed a better way to manage and review their internal practices. The existing self-assessment process was clunky, time-consuming, and hard to navigate. The client wanted a tool that would make assessments faster, easier to complete, and more useful for teams to actually drive improvements.
Solution
I led the design of KFC’s Procurement Self-Assessment Tool from early research through to prototyping. The focus was on simplifying a complex process into a clear, practical workflow. By making the tool intuitive and actionable, we helped teams feel more confident and better equipped to meet high procurement standards.
